Everything you get, at a glance
One weekly report built for your spot and your hives, plus the tools around it. No app. No password.
1You tell us about your bees
It takes about five minutes on myforgeguides.com. You tell us:
- Where your bees are. Type an address, or stand at your hives and tap Use my location.
- How many hives you have, and what kind (stacked Langstroth, long Langstroth, top-barβ¦).
- How long you've kept bees, from "thinking about it" to "more than 3 years".
- What you'd like the most help with: mites, winter, swarms, honey, queens or the basics.
- Whether you'd rather print it, read it on your phone, or both.
That's what lets us build a report for your yard instead of somebody else's.

2Your report arrives every Friday

Every Friday at 5 AM, your report lands in your email. It has your apiary's name on the cover, the week's dates, and a box showing what's inside.
It's built from:
- your own local forecast and the last four weeks of weather,
- what's blooming near you this time of year,
- and the reports you send in about each hive.
Print it at home in big, easy-to-read type, or read it on your phone, tablet or computer.
3What's inside each report
Each page has one job. Here's the tour.

4You tell us what you saw, from your phone
Your Friday email has your own report link. It opens a page already set up with your apiary and your hives, so there's nothing to sign in to.
- Tap the boxes for what you saw: entrance, queen and brood, stores, pests.
- Add a mite count, photos and notes. On a phone you can just talk your notes.
- No cell signal at the hives? Send it anyway. It waits on your phone and goes by itself when you have signal again.
Next Friday's report uses what you sent, and your year-long record fills in another week.

5We keep your whole year for you

Every report you send becomes one colored square on your hive's year: green is good, gold means watch, red is a problem.
At a glance you can see:
- how each hive's queen, brood, mites, stores and pests have gone, week by week,
- problems this year and whether they were fixed,
- what's working for that hive.
It's on a web page you open from your Friday email, and there's a monthly page in the report too. Look back at this year or all your years.
6You learn as you go, free
The Course Book has 87 short lessons in 10 chapters, from your first hive to Georgia Certified Beekeeper topics. It's free for everyone at learn.myforgeguides.com.
- Members get the next lesson in their report every week, at their own level.
- Each lesson covers what you'll learn, the lesson, what to remember, and a quick check.
- Each chapter ends with a quiz, and there's a 50-question practice exam.
- Read ahead as much as you like. Your weekly lesson stays in order.

7You can ask us anything about your bees

Type your question (or talk it into your phone), add photos if you like, and send. The answer comes by email, from university and extension sources, with the sources named.
If you say it's OK, your question may appear in the report's Questions & Answers with just your first name and town, so other beekeepers learn from it too.
You can also tap Email us anywhere in your report.
8Facts you can trust
Every fact in the report and every lesson comes from university extension programs (starting with UGA), USDA guidance and established research, and every page says where it came from. Where experienced beekeepers do things differently, we say so instead of picking a side.
